Inventory Control Specialist
OVERVIEW
PCE, a live events production company, is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to support our company in Huntington Beach, CA. This role will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Innovation, performing and assisting in wide-ranging tasks in a fast-paced environment. Most work will take place at PCE Orange County, with infrequent travel to other locations.
DUTIES
You will be responsible for inventory tagging, management, and organization, as well as recommending and implementing improved inventory control process and strategies, through the following duties:
• Catalog and tag new assets and maintain tagging on existing assets.
• Decommission damaged and retired assets.
• Coordinate reconciliation of existing assets.
• Optimize asset placement and storage practice within warehouses.
• Monitor and report inventory trends and issues.
• Recommend catalog changes and modifications.
• Maintain warehouse signage of aisles, bays, and racks.
• Maintain and reorder inventory supplies as needed.
• Perform general warehouse and other duties as assigned by management.
These duties and responsibilities are periodically updated to reflect business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
• Critical skills include organization, accuracy, repeatability, and adherence to procedure.
• Excellent time-management and process improvement skills.
• Frequently move equipment weighing more than 60 pounds.
• Must be capable of sitting, standing, and bending to access equipment and perform duties.
• Must have a solid work history, including recent consistent work experience.
• Some knowledge of electronics and the ability to perform light mechanical assembly and disassembly.
• Experience in an inventory control role preferred.
• Experience in the entertainment and corporate live events industry is highly preferred.
• Willingness to maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all established safety policies and procedures and participating in all required safety classes.
• Preferably maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, training, and on-call maintenance.
• Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, be self-motivated and provide a positive work environment both inside the department and throughout the shop.
