Los Angeles Southwest College Commencement 2023

Los Angeles Southwest College called on PCE for some big-time production help for their 2023 commencements. We supplied video, audio, rigging, and more for a set of ceremonies that took place on the LASC campus football field. And that's not all! We also helped out with a secret faculty after-party!

When conducting a commencement ceremony in a stadium or other similarly massive venue, image magnification helps carry the action to those seated far from the festivities. Our Absen PL3.9 LED video walls and Panasonic AG-HPX610 cameras showed each graduate crossing the stage for their big moment. QSC K10.2 speakers and PCE microphones blanketed the arena in high-quality sound. We controlled everything from the sidelines with an Allen & Heath Qu-32 audio console and Blackmagic ATEM 2M/E Constellation HD video switcher.

After the commencement ceremony ended, faculty met in a nearby campus building for a special after-party. We provided lighting for this affair, relying on MAC Aura PXL and MAC Allure Profile fixtures. A PCE lighting designer ran the show via a High End Systems Road Hog 4 lighting console.
