Radiant Health Centers 38th Annual Gala

Radiant Health Centers called on PCE for production help for their 38th annual gala, a Broadway-themed fundraising event dedicated to raising money for LGBTQ+ health in Orange County. The event went down at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach and featured PCE lighting, audio, video, rigging, power, and drape, as well as a performance from Broadway star Javier Muñoz.

Our lighting package included ETC ColorSource Spots blasting images created by Rosco gobos, with additional RGB room lighting positioned around the room for additional ambience. Our lighting designer took the reins via a Strand FLX S24 console. City Theatrical Multiverse SHoW Baby Wireless DMX Transceivers helped reduce the footprint of our lighting setup and keep the room safe for guests to move through.

QSC K10.2 speakers and JBL VRX918SP Subwoofers delivered pristine audio, while a Shure ULXD wireless microphone system gave speakers/auctioneers the freedom to move around the room to engage the crowd. Our audio engineer managed the show from a Yamaha CL5 audio console.

A Panasonic laser projector blasted prerecorded videos and visual aids onto an upstage screen throughout the event, while a PCE video engineer ran the show with a Blackmagic ATEM 1 M/E switcher.

Finally, PCE helped augment the stage with a RoseBrand ShowLED Star Drop Curtain stage backdrop with custom fabricated valance and legs, as well as additional pipe and drape throughout the room.
